Adding fine scale details to your N scale locomotives will be much easier with Alkem Scale Models Diesel Detailing Kits.

Each kit is designed for a specific locomotive. It will provide brass hand rails that are much closer to scale. Using an innovative design the hand rails will require no drilling for stanchions. Other detail parts such as lift rings, cutlevers, MU cables and wipers will be included providing a convenient and economical way to get the parts needed to detail an N Scale locomotive.

The first kits off the line are for the Kato SD40, as shown in the photo of Utah Railway 9017 below, and the JnJ SD45T-2, in photos below of SP 9379.

The SD40 kit fits the Kato N Scale model. You just need to provide some 0.010 inch phosphor bronze or brass wire, plow and/or bell in accordance with your prototype to make a highly detailed yet easy to assemble model
