HO Scale Gondola/Flat car now available for sale. This car is a simple model to build and is a great introduction to laser cut car kits. It can be built as either a flat car or a gondola.

Happy New Year! In case you haven't noticed, Alkem Scale Models has been slow in developing new products in 2007. Other projects have consumed most of our time . Unfortunately, new products for Alkem Scale Models had to take a back seat. Hopefully we'll be able to get our production pipeline going in 2008. We apologize to all of you that have been waiting for the new products.

Please note that our Cattails are now out of stock and we do not plan to do another production run. Also note that the USPS has raised its overseas postage rates considerably. We ship overseas via Global Priority Mail and the rates more than doubled. Our order form and Paypal pages have the new postage rates. The weak dollar probably contributed to this price rise. Hopefully, it will also take some of the sting out of the new postage rates.
