Based on a common yard light tower design used by many railroads including the C&O, Reading, CSX, Conrail, BN, and UP. This 80 scale feet tall model is perfect for use in railroad yards and other industries. It can be used on steam through modern layouts. Many are still in service. We recommend a hand seamer, like the one shown here, to make the folds in the N Scale model easier. The HO model does not require folds. This tool or ones to similar to it can be found at Home Depot or at automobile parts stores that supply sheet metal auto restoration tools. Several vendors offer them for purchase on line. We bought one at Home Depot for $10 in 2003. |
Lights or jewels to simulate the lights must be purchased separately. Richmond Controls is working on a lighting kit for this tower. We will post more info when it is available.
